When I saw my friends convocation pictures on facebook lately , it reminded me of my convocation when I received my scroll. Good thing that I managed to secure a job after my graduation. phew. Screw you who doubted me.

Indian Vegetarian Food @ Brickfields

Not long ago, Agnes brought us (Astina, Anita, Cindy and I) to her usual vegetarian shop. However this was slightly different, for the first time I had stuffed tauhu in an Indian restaurant. Well, food has no boundaries.

#I ordered Mango Lassi which was out of the world delicious.

The mango was so pure, I wondered what kinda mango they used.

#Vegetarian Yong Tau Fu aka stuffed tauhu.

It came in a claypot filled with generous portion of soup together with 

stuffed eggplant, stuffed ladies finger, stuffed chili and some beancurd.

I would like to try this out next time.

After we had our satisfying meal , we had quite a hard time focusing on our grammar exam. Due to some miscommunication we had to share the classroom with our Tesol juniors. I believed that my juniors were quite excited during their 1st lesson, they kept asking question after question. Man, I almost wanted to translate their conversation into indirect speech. I know I got carried away. Thus, we end up discussing our answer with each other.

Convocation

On that auspicious day,
I set foot on stage and waited for my named to be called out.
The moment I received the scroll from the chancellor,
I knew all the hard work that I've gone through the years finally paid off.
I'm officially a graduate and my parents will be the happiest people.
Thank for believing in me,without your support i would not made it.

For my besties, I gonna miss you all,
I cherish the ups and downs we've been through.
Till we meet again.

Pre graduation photo

I had my pre graduation photo session few weeks ago
yea finally i gonna grad..
cant wait for the day to come...
although i've submitted my thesis but still i have to prepare for my finals..
sigh..je suis fatique

means with the robe on then put on our bright smile.
duh my face looks so round..eyes so swollen and so dead
i hope my pic gonna look nice during my convo

duh, of all the photo, they choose the pic that couldnt see my face
wtf, dun have other picture to choose from is it?
i voice out my problem in a nice manner and nobody seems to acknowledge it
some one even told me that i looks fine.. wth..without my face?

my gals was unhappy too..
but no choice..minority mar..
so we had our own fun..wahaha
i felt more comfortable with my gals..
at least i dun need to put on a fake smile n layan them

See u thesis~Freedom to me

I've finally submitted my thesis yesterday~
after all the headache and sleepless nights,
i've made it to the finishing point.
Yeah~ i gonna graduate this August~yeeppie~

thanks for all the support and motivation.
Here are some of the people that i wanna thank.

first of all i wanna thank my parents who are always supportive and understanding.
without all the positive words from u all, i would be struggling to stay focus.
thanks for all the concern, encouragement and love.
i couldnt stay strong alone if my parents didnt protect me from all the ugly and harsh comment.
hope i make u guys proud.

a thousand thanks to my supervisor who had taught me alot and helped me out when im stuck 3/4 way during my thesis.
u know, i was very lost for a while when im unable to reach the target.
i've basically squeeze all my brain juice and used every words that is related to the topic, i ran out of words to continue writing.

so after i told my supervisor about the trouble that im facing, he actually went to library and get me some useful reference books for my thesis.
He give me a pat on the shoulder and told me to calm my mind down and he's sure im gonna complete before the deadline.
omg, where to find such helpful supervisor? i sayang him the most among my lecturers.
thanks giving me the motivation to continue writing my thesis.
thanks for believing in me, hope i didnt disappoint u.

thanks to my bff that are always there for me during my ups and downs, and always reminding me to stick to my thesis time table when im slacking through out the day , reminding me not to let anyone down, this reminder really helps. this really means a lot to me.
Im so lucky to have friends that are so concerned about studies without any intention.
If u know how competitive surrounding im in, u'll be worried sick if any of ur peers start asking u things related to your studies.
im glads it all over now.

i'll always remember the time we went to new era to dig out all the material that we need for our thesis and all the efforts we put in to juggle between assignment and thesis.

yesterday while we were leaving the binding shop,
my shoes koyak lucky one of my friend were there and he send me back to get my shoes changed.
thanks for the help dude~
they worried that i coundnt arrive in uni and pass up the thesis in time,
so they actually carry my thesis and walked to uni under the hot sun~
my thesis is quite heavy cuz it's like 40 pages thick, so each of them carry one for me
i feel so indebted to them.

thanks for nescafe for keeping me awake for the entire time,
without the boaster to keep me awake
i wouldn't hav sustain till the late night.

Im truly grateful with all the people who landed a hand to me,
without u guys i think i gonna be stuck in the middle and couldnt graduate in august.
Im blessed with having such people around me.

Drama- Hang super Tuah

During creative writing lecture on Monday,
we was told that we gonna perform out drama based on the script we had wrote during week 8 or 9 of the semester.
in order to select who hav the potential to act,
we were divided into groups and assigned with different character.
30 min was given for us discuss and after that we hav to act it out in front of the lecture hall.

seriously, acting is not my field.
so let me be the keh leh feh also enough d..
im very low profile wan as u know..

when we know that we got the hang tuah character
we were squeezing out of brain juice trying very hard to remember what we learnt during our BM class..
apparently our memory is not strong enough so we decided to go fusion
and the story is as follows

once upon a time in the far far kingdom of melaka,
when the dayangs are kipas-ing the sultan in a hot summer's day,
bendahara presented puteri gunung ledang's picture to the sultan and he knew that she will be her perfect permaisuri.
so the courages hang tuah was in a quest in search for puteri gunung ledang
when he was in the market trying to ask for direction to gunung ledang
he saw a beautiful young lady harassed by a hamsap tiger.

Without thinking twice,
hang tuah came to the rescue and both of them had a good fight and saved the beautiful young lady from the hamsap tiger.
to hang tuah surprise the beautiful young lady turned out to be puteri gunung ledang,
he too fell in love at once.
instead of bringing her back, both of them elope and live happily ever after.

Feeling unwell

yesterday was a long day for me.
yea..im unwell after attending class for 3 days..
i can blame it to the rain bathe the other evening
at first i felt a slight throat irritation
then by the time i was almost going to bed i start to hav running nose

when my alarm rang i was so reluctant to wake up to attend my 8am class,
but still convince myself to get washed up and prepared myself for class
when i come out from the house the sky is still dark
is a 5 minutes walk to the waiting point
it really freaks me out when im walking ALONE
thanked god i reach schl in one piece

my sensei actually enter class 15 minutes before 8am
wah...so early wan???
thanked god again that i come early..
the class was okay
at least im having a normal sensei compared to the previous wan..

to be honest,
i dun hav any fond memories of her
the only thing i can remember that is her criticism and harsh words.
always comparing us with japanese students bla bla bla..
wtf..ok end of story, dun wanna start my grandfather story all over again
next time i will only filled in the survey on the 14th week...
hahaa...

i lost my appetite due to sneezing, running nose and sore throat
good lar..can go on diet..haha..
if not later fat cant be pretty during chinese new year..
u know la..what kinda relatives i have..sienz
always like to say ppl fat when they actually look fine..

by the time i reach home,im feeling hungry...
so might as well cincai cook something
no instant noodles this time , the aji gonna worsen my condition
i'll probably turn into a husky voice the next day
hell no.

so i slept at the time of 10 plus

short update

I know i havnt been updating my blog for the past week
these are the things that i've been doing

i went to new era on monday, wednesday, friday.
tuesday and thursday hidding inside the cave struggling with my thesis
saturday and sunday hanging out with different group of friends
my life damn packed u know

life is so freaking hectic before my new sem
i dun dare to think how my life gonna be with all the assignment, midterm, and thesis
well, final sem isnt easy, i'll try my best to make time for everything..

Short break in Genting

Temperature heated up during our finals,
feeling like a pressure cooker, stress level building up studying paper after paper,
Glad it's finally over.
So its time to take a break and enjoy the fresh air in genting
our anticipated outing that we planned before the finals.
cooling wind blowing against our skin,
the breeze awakens me from my gloomy days of exam.

Lecturers

As we know that language is build up by grammar, vocabulary, sentence pattern, culture etc etc
I have come across two very different lecturer while attending some language courses.

Different method of teaching

language teacher no 1 says:

Can u come out with some new vocabulary, dun always give me the same old vocab.

language teacher no 2 says

if u wanna learn new vocab, i suggested that u buy a dictionary and memorize all the words in there. I cant help that there's so much grammar in this language. so proper grammar is the path way to a
strong foundation.

my humble opinion:

I prefer language teacher no 2 method of teaching, she's so right. Without proper grammar , we wont be able to construct a correct sentence. so even we memorize the whole dictionary, the composition will still looks awful with the atrocious grammar.

Patience level

language teacher no 1 says

I wonder what u all been learning for the past lesson, ur foundation is so weak.

language teacher no 2 says

its hard at 1st, i'll keep going through with u guys till u're familiar with it

my humble opinion:

siao wan, u're suppose to teach us not scold us when we dont understand. If ur patience level is so low then better stop teaching. sigh..i still prefer language teacher no 2, such motherly figure and doesnt blow us up with her wind.

Words from the bottom of my heart

dear language teacher no 1,

although u're a very experienced lecturer
but u make me nuts everytime i enter ur class.
Tension build up when keep comparing us with others
scolded harshly when we dont understand ur explaination
we pay our tuition fees to learn f, not getting scolded and being ur punching bag
our brains are filled with ur negative thoughts
I guess we'll like u better if u have more patience.

dear language teacher no 2,

thanks for the patience and guidance
i've been always looking forward to attend ur class
u make sure that all of us understand before u continue with a new chapter
and also ,thanks for bring chocolate back for us.

alors, how nice if every lecturer can be like teacher no 2.
but life is never perfect,
so take it as extra bonus if we're taught by dedicated teachers.
nasib la we call.

this time we went to KLCC
bought ticket for the movie 2012 and continue to burn some time by walking in the park.
seriously it's really hard to see any greenery in KL..
this morning walk is really refreshing.

Something U missed I

I know that i didnt update my blog for quite some time..
here i gonna share with u the activities i did after my finals and the entire month
please be patience with me..

I went back to my aunt's place for a few days...
chatted with my aunts every night before sleeping...
When i was a child they took turns to look after me when mom was working.
Until now,my aunts will prepared my favourite home cooked dish each time i go back without failed.
i feel so loved. <3

I've a cousin that i grow up with,
we spent lotsa time together,
sometimes we fault but there's no hard feelings.
Her sis feels that she treat me better than her own siblings...
wahaha...now see who's talking...Im the dai ka che...

We went for our sing-k session
as usual oldies will be on our sing list..
haha..most of the songs are from the 70's, 80's and 90's.
my friends surrender each time i sing oldies
sorry la..i prefer oldies because the lyrics are more refine and meaningful.
But my cousin is ok with my selection of songs.
