Study Week

....This is a late entry....

hello greetings from home

(caution: Don't drool while looking at the food.)

For the first time i went back to my house during study week
i was supposed to go back for a few days
but i end up staying there for a entire week.

During a week stay
my dad brought me for me favorite Japanese restaurant for dinner



Then while my dad was away for business trip
my mom cooked all my favourite food for dinner and lunch...

well..apart from the good food and nice surrounding
i did not get carried away and manage to study
until i get really tired of some subject
ie book of odes that is on saturday

I got a surprise visit from my aunts on Wednesday
my aunts said they are on the way when my mom and i was having lunch
so that means we have to eat, cleaned up, bath , i mean do everything with lightning speed
before my mom was ready im already waiting for her inside the car..
yea...i cant wait to see them

i miss my aunts terribly
so so so so so so glad they are coming over
they are able to find the way this why im so so so so so proud of them
extremely good sense of direction
im in euphoria please dun wake me up
ehem...enough of crap

so after crapping and touring my lovely comfortable home
we went to secret recipe beramai-ramai
3 tables were joined everyone was happy
and i can forget my studies stress for that moment.
yea..that moment only..

i hugged my aunts goodbye before they leave
i notice the person sitting in the next car kept staring at us,
what?Never see ppl hug before ar?
Go back hug ur parents la..


Friday
It was mom's birthday
after packing all my stuff
i gave my mom a treat as i promise her earlier

mom:
u got so much money meh?
me:
Yea, i got some saving cuz i didn't simply spend
mom:
that's my good girl..

we headed to the newly open San Francisco Pizza nearby
nice ambiance, lotsa choices to choose from but the food taste horrible.



One fish and chips, one mushroom soup , one spaghetti ,one coffee and one lime juice
other than the beverage the food is kinda yucky
the total is around 50 bucks
wahlau...daylight robbery la..

Dear shop owner, if u gonna charge that expensive please produce some quality food la ok..
sigh...

Im not going to give a below average treat for my mom's birthday
sounds insincere right
so we proceed to secret recipe

mom:
wah...my girl a lot of money man..going for second round
me:
eh, ur bday leh...dun wanna give u a lousy treat..
mom:
*smile*

this what i called quality food..
we shared a piece of tiramisu

suddenly i heard some sc staff singing from the kitchen
wtf..

wahai kawan kawan,
kalau nak bernyanyi pergi la karaoke
Jika suara anda merdu, bertandinglah di Akademi Fantasia atau One In a Million
Tetapi suara anda sumbang dan menyebabkan pencemaran bunyi

1st sub-Book of Odes

Book of odes
i would rather call it book of odd-ass
cuz it a pain in my ass

no tips given from our lecturer
we were asked to read every single poetry from the book.
this is where our pain came from,cuz it has over 300 poetry..
14 weeks of lecture and tutorial classes cover less than a hundred.
blardy hell...im not a scanner...

I tried reading it, understanding it, writing short notes
but heck im getting headache before im done with the 1st chapter
where's the panadol???

The night before exam
sinus struck,
i sleep for only 3 hours
i looks like a zombie the next morning
swollen eyes and red nose..

Exam day,
a saturday that im supposed to be in bed sleeping
yea...good arrangement


I lost 25 marks cuz i give a seriously terpesong answer
Suppose to be a mourning poetry and i mistaken it as a poverty poetry
im so dead..i dont think that my lecturer is kind enough to give compassion marks
well..one down five more to go...

Gonna continue my revision..

清明节

清明时节雨纷纷
这是个缅怀往生亲友的季节

收集好李大钊的资料后
在变成烧猪之前抵达了阿姨家附近的火车站

自五姨去世以来
这是我第一次在清明节拜祭她
一眨眼十年就过去了
祭品都是五姨生前喜欢爱吃食物
想起从前眼泪止不住地流了下来。

像往常一样
通常都会在清明节的时候
捐些钱为外公外婆大姨五姨做一些简单的法会。
在进入办公室的当儿
该负责人的华语程度实在是令我大失所望。

现今华人的姓氏加名字，一共三个字。
没有像古人的字、号。
请问三个字有那么难吗？

我真的有些不耐烦了。
鸡蛋糕。。你笨哦你？
要不要我送你助听器？
二姨很清楚的说了朝廷的廷，
你既然写成家庭的庭。。
马的。。无端端多了一个“广”

请问“萧廷钊”三个字那么难写吗？

外公在天之灵欲哭无泪。。
不用紧， 你的乖孙会写。。

好心，程度不够好就准备一本字典在身边啦。
闹了什么笑话。

Japanese Presentation + Oral Test+ Mid term

Presentation
This sem we were ask to prepare a 10 minute sketch instead of singing J-Pop like last sem Script of course is in Japanese and we have to write it ourselves.
plus, no looking at the script during the presentation.
Yea..memorising the script is the tough part.

This is our story line:
We knew each other since young and then separated after graduating high schl

when did i take up ballet?

impossible seeing my wearing such short skirt

each of us are so occupied with our studies we hardly have time to meet up,
so one day leafong(me) emailed them and ask them to come over during the semester break.

Oral test
Before the test
We were told to prepare a brief introduction before the oral starts
1 passage to read
3 question to answer be
prepare for 3-4 katagana in the passage..
to be honest..
till now i still cant regconize all the katagana script...

It was a painful wait..
Since we go according to the name list
looking at my friends coming out with a disappointed face
this really worries me
they told me the question have nothing to do with the lesson we have learnt
die..so how im going to prepare..
nah...just absorb all the vocabulary that I've learnt before
but heck...all my last minute entry bounce back..

im so lucky that there's only 2 katagana in my passage

Guess my session was quite ok..
dont need to retest..
phew...im relief.. Scored: 8.4/10.0

Mid Term
This is the most heart breaking result
It was an open book test and i didnt open my book...
wtf..how ironic..
saw my friends score like nobody business and i only got 6.8/ 10.0
shit...guess honesty doesnt work this time
no point crying over spilled milk
next time when my lecturer say is an open book test
O-P-E-N ur book and look for all the freaking answer..
